The Humboldt County Community Foundation Endowment Fund is a permanent fund designed to support the Foundation perpetually. As a permanent endowment, only 5% of the available balance may be withdrawn annually to support the Foundation’s mission. From grant making to special projects, the Endowment Fund aims to provide additional support to Humboldt County while advancing the mission of the Humboldt County Community Foundation. Donations made to the Endowment Fund increase the available balance, thereby increasing the 5% spendable allocation, to be used as directed by the Humboldt County Community Foundation.
